Start‑Up Arewa Innovation Summit 2023 brought together entrepreneurs, investors, tech‑enthusiasts, and ecosystem stakeholders from across Northern Nigeria to spotlight innovation, collaboration and growth potential in the region.
The Summit took place on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the NAF Conference Center in Abuja. Its theme was “Building Sustainable Tech Ecosystems: Lessons from the North,” signaling a focus on fostering innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth across Northern Nigeria’s startup ecosystem.
The Summit was more than an event — it was a strategic effort to address structural challenges facing Northern startups (like limited access to resources, mentorship, infrastructure, and investment) and to harness the region’s potential (young population, rising digital adoption, talent and creativity) for sustainable growth.
